DR. CHRIS SPENCE
Owner of 101 Pet Vet
Dr. Spence graduated from Ross University of Veterinary Medicine in 2009.
Dr. Chris Spence took ownership of Bristol Animal Hospital June 2020. The practice was rebranded as 101 Pet Vet in December 2020 to reflect its convenient location off the 101 Freeway.
Kristi has been part of our team at 101 Pet Vet, formerly Bristol Animal Hospital, since 2005.
Kristi is indispensable as part of our team; she is very passionate about her work. She knows almost all of our clients and pets by name and is always there to help with a warm genuine smile. Kristi lives in Ventura with her husband Dennis and enjoys spending time with her two horses ‘B’ and ‘Pooh’, and her German Shepherd named ‘Louie’.
Registered Veterinary Technician
Sandy is a registered veterinary technician. She received her degree in veterinary science from Pierce College.
Working with her father in his veterinary hospital, as well as working with horses, has instilled within her a deep passion for the care of animals. Sandy is a native to California and lives in Moorpark. She is married with two daughters. When she is not at work she can be found serving her community as a Volunteer Mounted Patrol member in regional and state parks on her Arabian horse, Ghali. Sandy is also certified in K Laser Therapy.
Registered Veterinary Technician
Suzanne joined the 101 Pet Vet team in June of 2020.
Suzanne is a registered veterinary technician. She received her degree in veterinary science from Pierce College in 2009. Her experience as an RVT is invaluable to our front office team. When she is not providing excellent care to your pets she spends time with her grand kids, pets and horses. You will also finder her cheering on her favorite baseball team, the Dodgers.
Lacie has been in the Veterinary field for approx. 10 years. Her background involves veterinary assisting at emergency hospitals, and general practice hospitals.
Lacie became a part of the 101 Pet Vet team in May 2017. Her background involves veterinary assisting at emergency hospitals, and general practice hospitals.
In her spare time, Lacie is involved in church ministries and is an avid fan of Disney and a movie buff.
Miranda Macedo joined the 101 Pet Vet Team in July of 2020.
Miranda joined the 101 Pet Vet Team in 2020. She is from North Carolina where she managed a dog day care facility. She provides quick compassionate care for all our pet-parents and treats each patient as if they were her own pet. Miranda spends time with her boyfriend, Brett and their dog, Milo, who they rescued.
Dr. Spence’s wife Amy, graduated from Cal Poly with a Bachelor’s in Animal Science.
Amy has served as an Administrative Director for non-profits such as Animals In Need. Amy spent 6 years as horse trainer at Cambridge Equestrian Center in Santa Maria, CA. At 101 Pet Vet Amy uses her experience as a Veterinary Administrator. She enjoys spending time with her two sons (Bradly and Zachery), two cats (Sully and Maximus), Belgian Milionis (Bear), and riding her horse (Jack).
Kassandra graduated from Charter College Veterinary Assistant Program in 2016.
Kassandra has volunteered extensively at animal shelters and worked for a reputable dog breeder before deciding to further her career in the veterinary medicine. Kassandra graduated from Charter College in 2016 and joined the 101 pet Vet team in 2018. Kassandra is a testament to her fear-free training and is excellent at handling dogs and cats in a way that makes them comfortable at the hospital. Kassandra enjoys spending time with her husband, two sons, two dogs, and three cats.
Jocelyn graduated from Charter College Veterinary Assistant Program in 2016.
Jocelyn graduated from Charter College in 2016 and joined the 101 Pet Vet team in 2019. Jocelyn has gained experience at other local hospitals. Jocelyn handles each patient and pet parent with compassion. Jocelyn is a full time Veterinary Assistant and student. She likes to spend time outdoors and with her two cats.
